No-Bake Nutella Peanut Butter Cookies

You heard it right!

No bake!

Isn't that freaking exciting?
Mind blown by infinity!
Ahem, this is you my fellow reader.

But do not think otherwise young valiant knight. Instead, you must... I can not say it.
For it is not for the faint of heart to read! But I must! The cookies must be...

COOKED.

Oh woe is thy cookies, for theyist not knowith the wayith of being proper cookiesITH.
And this is where I take leave, as the wizard bewitches this odd contraption called a 'stove,' or was it 'ovenith.'?
All I do knowith, is thatith knowith that it breathith like a dragonith!

Yes indeed... The legend of the cookie was coming! Ha ha ha.
This movie was racing through my mind so maybe you can see why I was talking that way.
And it is also a great movie to watch I must say!
But any who...

Blarg, shiver me timbers.
Thats not'er way to go.

Aye, the sails be telling ye that it be casting off for Candy Island!

Reference to one of my favorite cartoons. Too bad they canceled the show.

(As you can see. Being in the month of October has messed up my state of mind. Oh what to do, what to do. I have to decide on what I want to be this year!) And from that, you can tell how sidetracked I have suddenly become. Ha ha ha.

So this is a good time to start indulging our sweet tooths together in cavity rotting harmony!
(Smiles into a mirror that suddenly cracks from the sight of all the plaque on my teeth.)
I feel so b-e-a-UTIFUL! (Cracks another horrid smile.)

And let the teeth rotting begin!
They have pretty cool masks though, right?
But, in full seriousness. I am sure you do not want to visit the dentist.

No-Bake Nutella Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients:

3 tablespoons               Butter
1/2 cup                        Granulated Sugar
1/4 cup                        Milk
1 tablespoon                Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1/4 cup                        Peanut butter or Hazelnut butter
3/4 cup                        Nutella Hazelnut Spread (Or 1 cup of chocolate chips)
2 cups                          Rolled Oats

I also could not resist this beauty while shopping in the grocery store.
Now now, I did use nutella, but I also made a second batch with this yummy treat too.

Instructions:

In a large saucepan melt the butter over medium to low heat. Then add the sugar, milk, and cocoa powder and mix until combined. Stir in the peanut butter and nutella until it melts, then start to mix in the oats.

Continue to combine and mix the ingredients together with the stove heat set to the lowest setting.

Once it is all combined, use a table spoon to quickly scoop out the mixture into a container of some sort (such as tupperware) or on a parchment-lined sheet pan.

You can also use an ice-cream scoop if you would like for a larger cookie, but be warned.
It is like a chocolate granola cookie, but still oh so good!

Then refrigerate it for thirty minutes until firm. Store your cookies in an airtight container.

And with this, welcome to the delicious delectable nutella bites!
I used a tablespoon to scoop them out. That way I get to savor each small bite.

They look like chocolate granola bites.

Be warned, they do taste like candy...
Each one..
Just..

Oh, so, good

Yummy in your tummy?

I also apologize to my good friend who has paid patronage to my blog and wanted this recipe. But, better late than never right? And just in time for the month of October. Especially for sweets.

Mmm, I feel a bit more impersonal about how I write in these posts.
All I want to do is allow people to gain a glimpse of my persona through the madness of my need to make recipes. (Throws a pie against the wall.)
Too much? Ha ha ha.

But, there is still plenty more recipes to come.
So do not fret young Adventurer.
There are more jungles and dangers to forage forward into!

Happy Mid-October Y'all!
